Picture this scene:
My fourteen-year-old son lying on the floor with a stomachache.
My little Asian two-year-old snuggles up next to him, patting his face.
Suddenly I hear these precious words come from my daughter who has only heard English for a year now.
“It’s okay. Jesus is with you.” Words of truth and comfort, perfect for any situation.
Does your stomach hurt? “It’s okay. Jesus is with you.”
Is your bank account low? “It’s okay. Jesus is with you.”
Is your teenager pulling away? “It’s okay. Jesus is with you.”
Is your marriage in trouble? “It’s okay. Jesus is with you.”
Is your health in danger? “It’s okay. Jesus is with you.”
Whatever is happening in your life today, savor this truth: “It’s okay. Jesus is with you.”
“Be strong and courageous, do not be terrified, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
